1.1. Worldpool keeps and collects “User’s Personal Information” which may include but is not limited to name, age, location, email address, contact number, work experience and any other information that is not otherwise available publicly. The User provides such information upon registering as a User of the Site.
1.2. By providing the User’s Personal Information, the User hereby agrees to share such information and thereby consents to the use of such information.
1.3. Worldpool may keep track and collect certain information about the User’s use of the Site, including but not limited to the User’s transaction, pages and areas which the User visits and the services the User accesses. Such information is used to assist Worldpool to enhance and improve the Site from time to time.
1.4. Worldpool may gather certain information about the User’s computer hardware and software including but not limited to the User’s IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring websites addresses.
1.5. Worldpool shall be allowed, in its sole and absolute discretion, to use, share and/or disclose the collected information, including but not limited to, for the following purpose:
(a) to administer the User’s account;
(b) to customise the advertisement and the content of the Site and the Services;
(c) to contact notify, inform and update the User;
(d) to conduct research, surveys and polls as and when required;
(e) to enhance and improve the Services;
(f) to share information with business affiliates and partners;
(g) to share all information collected, received, acquired or obtained from or in respect of the User (including but not limited to the User’s Personal Information and information that may be obtained from the Deep Database Search Service, Worldwide Classifieds Service and/or Professional Networking Service) with authorised third parties. Worldpool hereby agrees not to sell, rent or otherwise provide the User’s Personal Information to third parties. Worldpool will only share the User’s Personal Information with third parties in order to deliver the Services. This includes but is not limited to instances whereby to process the subscription payments made by the User, some of User’s Personal Information may be shared with the authorised credit card processing company;
(h) to make available to the public Profile Information of a User (meaning only the User’s name, location, current occupation and qualification). However, all other information provided by the User shall only be made public at the discretion of the User;
(i) to disclose any information which Worldpool is legally required to disclose or may be against public policy not to disclose;
(j) to disclose any information in order to protect Worldpool’s rights and property (including intellectual property rights);
(k) to disclose any information to prevent a crime and/or to protect national security; and
(l) to disclose any information to protect the personal safety of other Users or the general public.
1.6. Worldpool shall be the sole owner of the User’s Personal Information collected from the Site. Any third parties or any other users shall not retain, share or store any of the User’s Personal Information available on the Site except with the prior written consent of Worldpool.
1.7. In the event Worldpool effects or undertakes an acquisition by way of a merger, amalgamation, reconstruction, consolidation or sale of its assets to a third party, the User’s Personal Information may be disclosed and/or transferred to the third party who acquires Worldpool’s business. The User will be notified of any such change in ownership or control of the User’s Personal Information.
1.8. If the User does not wish to disclose its User’s Personal Information, the User shall immediately discontinue browsing, accessing, viewing, downloading and/or using the Site.
2.1. The User’s account password is deemed to be private and confidential. The User is solely responsible for the confidentiality of the password and the use of the account. In the event there is any unauthorised use or breach in security of the User’s account and/or password, the User shall immediately notify Worldpool.
2.2. The User may at any time request to edit, update and/or change any User’s Personal Information subject to verification of the User’s identity.
2.3. The security of the User is of utmost importance to Worldpool. The public will not be allowed to send any messages to a User without logging into and accessing it through the Site.

The Site may contain links to third party websites. Worldpool is not responsible for the content or any material or information on any third party websites. In the event the User decides to access any linked third party websites or to use or install any third party applications or software, the User does so at his/her own risk and the User shall be aware that the terms and policies of the Site no longer govern such use. Worldpool shall not be responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices of any third party websites. Worldpool’s Privacy Policy only applies to information collected by Worldpool through the Site.
Worldpool reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to amend, change, modify or otherwise alter Worldpool’s Privacy Policy at any time. Any amendments shall become effective within 24 hours after notification via announcement on the Site and/or via email sent to the e-mail address provided by the User. If the User does not agree with the amendments, the User shall immediately discontinue browsing, accessing, viewing, downloading and/or using the Site.
