Wordpool didn’t start as a dream. It was far simpler than that. The idea of this website came about because I noticed glaring gaps in online professional networking. We saw 2D template profiles, but we had no sense of a person. The car she drives? The books he's reading? Bungee-jumping, cocktails or both? If a profile is inadequate, what advantage did online hiring offer?
Secondly I noticed several great productivity employment tools, but they were scattered all over the Net. It made sense to bring the more significant ones to the same platform.
With these observations, my first task was to take on the role of the employer. As I treaded the path of the person in charge, I began to understand the needs of the boss, the project leader, the CEO. I was wearing all those shoes -- or putting it another way, living the gap.
In recognizing the incredible opportunity in this, the answers to every employment problem (well, almost) became possible to devise.
